Leave Chiang Mai by 4-WD Land Rover or similar to visit an elephant camp at Mae Saa. Watch the elephants hauling timber in the forest. Their strength and clever teamwork will amaze you. Continue to visit an Orchid Farm. Lunch at local restaurant.
PK004 : HMONG SOFT ADVENTURE TOUR (3 DAYS 2 NIGHTS)
This 3 days tour takes visitors to the hills around the north of Chiang Mai, visiting several hill tribe villages, shooting the river rapids on inflatable rafts (or bamboo rafts if the water level is low from mid March-June) trekking through the forest on elephant back, biking on the dirt roads through the jungle and hilly countryside, and walking on the wooded hills. Comfortable overnight stays are at the Hmong Lodge

Half an hour north of Chiang Mai City, this elephant camp, located in a pleasant forested valley. Here the elephants provides a demonstration of the skills, intelligence, good humor and the strength of the working.
Drive up the serpentine road to the magnificently situated Wat Doi Suthep. Perched on a forested mountain, this most sacred Chiang Mai temple (altitude 3,280 ft) provides a superb view over the valley, as well as a wealth of images and frescos.
